I know the financial difficulties we all are having and keeping up with the trends is absolutely hard. Let's face it, people can make up all this trends for every season and sometimes I feel like they are just giving us reasons to spend our hard earned money, go on a shopping spree and follow the trend out there. It may sound like a bad thing, but I guess it's not totally a bad idea and we just have to control ourselves from buying all the stuff we think is pretty but don't actually need it.

Updating your homes even in the most simple and inexpensive way will totally change the ambiance of your home and make it fit for the weather in whatever season there is. However, being up to date is not a bad thing. It makes you feel the season more and appropriate for the weather.

It shouldn't cost you a lot to follow the trend for fall and just follow this tips.

1. Follow the Color Scheme of Fall.

Look around you, let your surroundings inspire you. Gather, some leaves and let it inspire the creativity in you. Or, you can just check the color palette for fall and check out the colors that will work with your furniture.

Sometimes we need to step out and admire the beauty of our surroundings and be inspired by nature.

2. Change Curtains.

I always say that fall is one of the season's that I find dramatic. With the color changes and leaves falling, trees do have some drama going on! Lol! Anyway, aside from Christmas time, one of the best and legit time to use your brightly colored curtains and use them all together.

But, don't go too crazy with the colors. I would still choose the color that will work with what you already have and work around it with adding a pop of color.

3. Decorate using the Fall Colors.

The colors that you may choose doesn't have to be so dull or boring. You can choose any happy colors and preferably something that doesn't say " I love Fall."

Changes shouldn't be always over the top and play around with colors. Other's might think Fall colors can be dull and boring, use the color palette I have provided on number 1 and let it guide you with the process.

See, you can always make it colorful and pretty! Use, whatever that is available in your home or just buy a throw pillow casing to cover your existing one.

I saw this article from zillow.com on how we can cozy our kitchen this fall. The Fall season is like the start of all holidays, events, and all family gathering. It only makes sense that we also decorate or at least adjust depending on what season we are in. As per www.zillow.com, our home decors should follow the season and I absolutely believe what they said.

So here are their 4 ways to Cozy Up the Kitchen for FALL.

Weave in dark textiles

Fall means decorating with gorgeously textured throws, pillows, and table linens. Introduce your kitchen to an autumnal palette using dark, natural window coverings and similar table linens for a cozy effect. This look juxtaposes raw texture with soft details like fresh fruit, warm placemats, and smooth surfaces.

Found most often in farmhouse-style or rustic homes, butcher block is great for countertops and tables because it’s durable and looks better the longer you have it.

Add pops of color

Nurture indoor plants

Houseplants are always good go-to decorations because they require little upkeep, and add a touch of freshness to any space. They are particularly useful in the fall because they can double as herb gardens or unique decor.

Install a small indoor garden on your window sill or on a shelf near a window to have easy access to fresh rosemary, sage, and basil, even when the weather might not call for gardening.

While these suggestions may seem small, they are great touch-ups to boost your festive theme this fall season. Add one or two, or mix all of the design tips for a home-sweet-home feel.

I've been spooking myself out from doing the research and because of my curiosity why the place is haunted. I even hate myself for checking pictures proving the place being haunted by the spirits!

If you are from around Indianapolis or just visiting, take advantage of the getting to know the history and spook yourself out while you travel the memory lane of Indianapolis. By the way, some of the tours are not in Indianapolis and better to plan ahead. Most of the tickets are sold out as early as today.

I know some may find it boring to go on a tour group or some may not be comfortable enough to be in a large group, you can go to www.hauntedplaces.org. You can go on your very own tour and do some investigation with your friends.

For those who are looking for other scary attractions, you might want to go to http://www.indyscreampark.com/ they have added some new attractions that I think you will like. Though, you'll won't see me here, the attraction is not for the faint of heart.

Halloween is just around the corner! Not exactly... But, it doesn't mean you cannot celebrate it early right? Kentucky is one of the State that offers ghost tours as early as the 2nd week of October, but if you are in town visiting with friends might as well go on a haunted tour.

If you will be going on a tour by yourself, it'll be more interesting to bring a psychic with you. Only if you want ghost pictures to take home with you and at least she/he can point out where to take the picture right?

It's not for the faint of heart and those with heart conditions stay away from the night tours and just go on a day tour, well, I guess it's less scary to go on a morning or afternoon ghost tour. Also, you may coordinate with the Kentucky's department of Tourism to set a guided tour for your group so that you can maximize and visit all the haunted places in Kentucky.

CORNFIELD MAZE: A FALL thing in Indianapolis

I haven't exactly tried this one, but it looks fun and a bit scary. The author is a right if you have watched "The Shining" this kind of maze can be scary and fun at the same time.

You will never know if the organizers added some twists on this maze or not. But getting lost in the cornfield maze is one of those fun adventures that you dream of as a kid and you still have that chance to cross that from your bucket list.

I just hope there's a yellow brick road to follow while you are making your way to the cornfield. If you are in town, might as well try the cornfield maze, well, you don't get to experience this quite often and yes it's a fall thing in Indianapolis.

Some Indiana farmers have flirted with “agritourism” or “agritainment” by turning some of their cornfields into mazes.

It’s a twist on what farmers do in Europe with hedges. Here in the U.S. it’s a seasonal thing, a fall thing, a Halloween month thing. Sometimes “haunting” is part of it. You’ll recall if you ever saw “The Shining” that mazes can be scary places.

4 Reasons to Buy and Not to Buy a Condo

Moving into a new city or buying a first home, a condo may sound really good. However, there are pro's and consequences when buying a condo.

I guess this actually depends on your needs and budget. If you are going to start a family, a condo may not be too ideal. But, for some single and looking for a place with or at least close to their hobbies and amenities that they are looking for a condo may be ideal.

Here are the reasons as to Buy and To Not Buy a Condo.

1. Lower Maintenance.

Lawns are least of your problems, you don't have to buy a lawnmower and you don't have to worry any landscaping or the curb appeal of your front home.

Without the other responsibilities for a regular home, you can use more of your time to enjoy the amenities your place offers.

If one day, you wanted a yard with ample space, of course, you cannot find any of that in a condo unit. However, if you have a patio you can have it converted to a really cool outdoor space with grass or you can use it grow plants.

2. The Amenities.

You can just enjoy the amenities that they offer, without you actually buying and maintaining for it. Some condominium offers their own gym, sauna, and swimming pool. No need to invest your own stuff and do the actual maintenance for all of it.

It's a common facility that everyone in the building might be using. Some may not be too comfortable sharing stuff with the other residents of the area. Also, you might need to wait for your turn for a really long time just to use the equipment, especially if the place becomes too crowded.
