The Second Street Neighborhood Association presents its 23nd Annual Hidden Treasures Garden Tour on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. This year, the tour highlights the Toonerville neighborhood, which encompasses 1st, Floyd, and Brook Streets. This neighborhood association takes its whimsical name from the Toonerville Trolley comic strip, based on the short Brook Street trolley that ran from 1915 until 1930. The project is part of the neighborhood’s efforts to become a vibrant district that is distinguished from other neighborhoods by its commitment to sustainability principles.
