Having our very own game room in our homes is probably one of the "MUST" or probably a dream for some since it cost too much. However, there are ways on you can convert your dim, sad basement to a happy place or the place to be.
I guess the having a finished basement then that would mean cutting your expenses to half and would mean lesser money to spend for repairs and you can start to focus on the items, gaming consoles to add, and a plan to make your basement or any other room cozy.
Here are some tips on How to turn Your Basement into an Awesome Gaming room.
1. Create a plan for your Game room

I would say this is the first step to your dream game room. Having a plan will prevent you from cluttering and making your game room look like it wasn't planned. Create a plan, how do you want it to look like, the gaming consoles that you would like to add and arrangement. This will make sure that your game room looks pulled together and cluttered.
2. Clean and Paint your Walls

Cleaning and painting your basement is definitely the most important process. If you haven't used your basement for some time now, and or you are using your basement as a storage area then it probably needs some cleaning and repainting. No need to hire a painter or someone to clean your home, since this is one project that everyone will enjoy, it's best if everyone can join you in beautifying this place.
When it comes to colors, it doesn't really have to be that crazy especially if you are planning to sell your home. I would suggest a neutral color and add some bright colors for details. Stay away from a dark colored paint and any gloomy colors, just because it's already dark and sad down there.
