Stories of friendship and betrayal, and the importance of qualities like cleverness and teamwork, are at the heart of this exhibit. Kalila and Dimna are the Arabic translation of a 2,000-year-old Indian collection of animal fables called the Panchatantra. Visitors will enjoy the stories and beautiful illustrations. This new experience at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis brings fairy tale favorites to life -- Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Treasure Island, and more. These fanciful stories provide the perfect backdrop for families and children to don costumes, pick out props and jump into the pages of beloved children’s literature. Explore a pirate ship, search for treasure and walk the plank. Hold court in an enchanted castle and take on the roles of beloved rebels and royals but, watch out for the dragon that recently escaped the castle’s dungeon!
