Aside from visiting historical places, going to museums or attending an event in Indianapolis; we all look forward to chill after a long day and hit the local bars to chill, relax and experience what this city has got to offer.
When I was younger I can hit the bar until the wee hours of the morning with my friends. We chill, a lot of booze and I guess you can call it a picnic since we always order a lot of food (not Niki!). My friends and I just chill, listen to acoustic bands and chit chat all night or until 6 am. After a stressful day at work, this is the only way we know to destress. But now... You'll have to drag me out of our house to go out. Lol!
I guess even when you are not visiting and you are living in Indianapolis, this is something you might do especially if you still have lot's of energy to spare. I can totally say that I absolutely enjoyed my 20's and I was literally out every other night! Until my dog came and from frequent chilling, became seldom and now you'll have to drag me out of the house before I leave my dogs behind. Lol!
One of the things I love about Indianapolis is their diverse culture and there is something for everyone. Jazz, comedy bars, chill and do some wine tasting, and etc. For the people visiting, one way to complete your Indy experience is to visit one of the 5 great spots to chill when you are in Indianapolis.
