You may have heard the phrase "change is the only constant thing in the world" and I totally agree with this. As we welcome a new year, it's our way of welcoming changes, accepting new ways, and transforming us to a better version of ourselves.
Like fashion, interior design trends for home and offices changes every year. But one thing we love about trends for homes is that it doesn't change frequently like how we change our clothing style or how frequent we change our phone.
There are home interior design trends that will remain in style and requires minimal effort to update the look. One of those trends is the Classic interior design trend, it requires minimal effort to make it look modernized. Modern interior designs may or may not require you to update every year depending on what is in and out of style. Plus, furniture may cost more and probably harder to find.
I have collected the trends we can expect for 2016, just in case you need to update some of the furniture or if you have plans of repainting or changing your wallpaper.
Here is our list of 4 Interior Design Trends for Home to Expect this 2016.
1. Matching Black Stainless Steel Appliances.
3. Bathroom Upgrades.
One of the predicted trends for bathrooms this year is upgrading the traditional bathroom mirror to something stylish to add that extra something for your bathroom which I agree and what I love so far is, the trend to make your bathroom look and feel more like a living space. According to Houzz.com, the bathroom is one of the most cluttered spaces and flowers and chairs will make it feel more of a living space.
This is something you would like to do in your masters bathroom, if you want your alone time and make it more comfortable for you.
4. Mismatched Color for Cabinets.
I used to ba a fan of a matching cabinet colors, however, lately matching cabinet color doesn't appeal to me anymore. I like the idea of mismatched colors for cabinets, it creates that needed dimension and texture in your kitchen. Make sure the bold color will be on the bottom since it's the part that usually gets dirty in the cooking process.
