2016 may have already started, but to the Chinese calendar, the year of the monkey officially starts on February 8, 2016. Some of you may or may not believe in feng shui, however, there is nothing wrong with believing or practicing feng shui, especially if has a good effect on you or to your family.
Since February is fast approaching and what I mean is it's starting next week, I decided to gather information on how we can attract good luck in our homes without the needing to buy lucky charms, though, we might need a compass which you can download in your phone.
Like what I have said, this is just some suggestions on how we can enhance and increase the positive energy in our home. Plus, when we feel good in our home we will start feeling good within ourselves and attract more luck in the process.

1. Arrange Furnitures.
It is believed that arranging furniture can impact the flow of energy in the home. However, those who are not practicing feng shui will find this ridiculous. However, arranging your furniture can give that new look in your home and something new.
In feng shui, arranging your bed or removing your bed directly from the door is bad luck (i.e. getting sick easily), as well as your bed headboard, is directly positioned to a window.
2. Fresh plants and Flowers.

Add indoor air purifying plant inside your home. Well, this isn't something new, plants can bring color and decorative purposes. It is believed that an indoor plant can purify energy and bad juju's. 3. Painting your Door.

Fire monkey is the color of red, pink, purple, orange and bright yellow, however, this may not be too practical if you are selling your home, not unless it looks really good with your house. The color of your door is thought to determine good luck. According to feng shui, south-facing doors should be painted red or orange, north-facing doors should be blue or black, west-facing doors are best with gray or white, and east-facing doors will be lucky with brown or green.
