Warm up your bellies in this 4 awesome Winter Beer Festival in Louisville. Just remember to assign a designated driver, preferably someone who doesn't like liquor, and who is not easily tempted by all the booze around you. I think it's best not to take your car and just call for Uber.

What: The gala-style festival will celebrate bacon, beer and bourbon while raising funds for Kosair Charities. Watch for Courier-Journal reporters Jere Downs and Bailey Loosemore, who will guest judge bacon dishes.
When: 7 p.m.-midnight Saturday
Where: Mellwood Art Center, 1860 Mellwood Ave.
Cost: $80 per person. Tickets include unlimited food and drink.

2. Louisville On Tap

What: Beer festival producer America On Tap will set up in Louisville with more than 100 samples of American craft beers. Greg Finger Band will perform, and food will be available for purchase.
When: 5-8 p.m. Saturday
Where: Kentucky International Convention Center, 221 S. 4th St.
Cost: $45 standard ticket; $60 VIP ticket, which includes early admission, T-shirt and food voucher.
