Interior Design Part 2: British, Contemporary, French, Gothic & Indian Style

I was trying my best to squeeze everything together in one blog. However, I was choosing the photo's to include that can capture the concept of each design being included here and the best free picture on the internet. Lol! Like what I've discussed yesterday, each and everyone will always have a place in the design world. No matter how weird or fabulous your concept is there is always a style that will truly call you. I personally like anything that is in black and white or a bit of pink and black. I also adore the victorian style, so I guess I like fancy, a bit dark and elegant looking furniture. One of the reasons why I like Baroque and Gothic.

We'll start with the British designs, Contemporary, French, Gothic and Indian Style. Just in case You have missed the Part 1 of this Blog, Click here. I hope you guys enjoy.

1. British Interior Design.

There are 2 common styles of British Interior Designs:

a. Cool - Britannia -  Source: http://www.interiordesignipedia.com/

This interior design is a bit patriotic and British flag is a common theme. Though, I for one likes this Cool-Britannia interior. It got this fresh and cool vibe. Also, there should be balance with your decorations and the amount of flag designed in one room.

I love this couch! Typically and probably the best way to introduce "cool Britannia" into your British interior design concept, is to incorporate the flag, 'the Union Jack' into your design.

Color:
RED, WHITE, and BLUE; however, please do not literally cover your home in only those colors. Look for interesting ways to introduce them.

There are many ways to give your home a feeling of being 'king of the castle' or 'queen and the crown will work a treat every time.

b. Shabby Chic interiors - Source: http://www.interiordesignipedia.com/

Commonly mixed with an interesting ensemble of interiors, and is indeed a very well used English look that is both warm and charming. This interior design is actually cute and I feel like being hypnotized to have tea at this very moment. The decor is worn, pre-used or rather a pre-loved mix of vintage objects and furniture of beauty and imperfection and it is that, which makes this style of comfort work.  The bigger the sofa the better! Exaggerated sofas with washable slipcovers are the host of this concept. Essentially you could accessorize the look with secondhand, flea-market furniture and objects which make this style very relevant in today's economy.
Accessories: What you are trying to do is get the balance right between elegant things with the old and worn.

2. Contemporary Interior. - Source: http://www.interiordesignipedia.com/

Contemporary interior design is an exciting, collective celebration of what is current and new. The look is definitely modern with interesting clean, angular, curved lines holding each piece together. Despite the contemporary design being 'new and current' there is also the love of what is popular and the respect of design classic furniture.
Color: the immediate suggestion would be pure white like what has been used in the image of the room at the top of the page however, contemporary interior design is much, much broader and pretty much takes on the full-color spectrum when applied tastefully.
