The Last and Final Chapter of my Interior Design Styles! To those who have been following my Interior Designs by Part, I can't thank you enough and please, continue reading what we post here. I do try my best to provide you all real estate related and all home related topics that I can think of.
I also hope that you learned something from the designs I have put together for you guys. I know I did! I was able to use what I've learned from compiling all of the interior designs and correct my brother from what he thought is "Rustic" and that felt good! I did get a sharp "know it all" look from him. Lol! Knowing the basic elements of each interior design style, will help you mix and match with the designs and hopefully, inspired you to do some remodeling for your home.

Here are the SPANISH, TUSCAN, VICTORIAN, VINTAGE and  ZEN Interior designs.

1. SPANISH

With influences from the surrounding Mediterranean region, Spanish interior design features a coastline-inspired color palette of blues, greens, whites, and browns. The warmth of terracotta reds and oranges are other major players in Spanish color schemes due to the widespread use of terracotta tiles for flooring and roofs. The elements of stone and ceramics are very common in Spanish design along with pottery, wrought iron pieces, candle holders, and carved wooden panels. Metal accents of copper are also important to this style of design.
Colors: Off-white, Apricot, Burnt sienna, Gold. Keep any woodwork, trim or moldings in the home a dark, natural wood finish.
Wall finishes in Spanish interior design feature heavy texture made with stucco or plaster for interesting visual depth. Soft neutral glazes are often used in conjunction with these textured walls for more definition and color.

DECOR: Spanish wall décor usually includes rich woven tapestries and wrought iron grilles for a rustic, elegant touch. Accessories are kept to a minimum with a tendency towards a few larger items displayed together like urns, vases, planters and pots.

2. Tuscan Interior Designs

In traditional Tuscan home setting, the stonework is often exposed which means that you can see just how random the blocks of stone are in size and color.
When supporting timber beams are on the view they are usually rough and raw, all of which create quite a rustic look and feel. Woodwork should be stained dark.
Color: your Tuscan color palette should reflect the rich, sunny countryside. Warm shades of terracotta, burgundy, gold, brass, burnt orange mixed with olive and sage green would look amazing on a white or off-white backdrop.
Walls: Tuscan homes generally have stonework weathered walls both internally and externally. Hand troweled plaster work called 'stucco' could be used to capture this concept in your home. The look of your walls should be distressed and slightly worn to help give an aged look.

You could work with special paint finish techniques to help you achieve the aged feel; antiquing, faux finish and color washing.
Simple white-washed walls look fantastic and can be used to create your Mediterranean Tuscan style.
Tapestry's and Tuscan landscape artwork selected to hang on your walls and could work as strong focal points within your space and help to complete your design.
