We all have a preference when it comes to style, designs and theme for our home. I know designs and themes can be a vague topic since this is highly subjective and highly dependent on our opinion or our preference.

We have discussed the designs before in our blogs, however, I believe we haven't exactly touched the topic of a fully Modernized Home. I'm for one can attest to that. However, our living room and kitchen are 2 separate rooms and can be designed differently (or so how I believe) as long as it will follow the color scheme of your living room.

I am not a fan of a highly modernized home, especially for the living room. But, this modernized kitchen made me fall in love with a modernized kitchen look ( just for the kitchen). Looking at the picture above, you can see that there are a lot of storage space available, the sleek design, and available in almost all the colors we would like including a matching color for the countertop. 

These matching cabinets and countertop  are absolutely pleasing to the eye. Plus, you just got to love those shiny cabinet doors! Though, I believe modernizing your kitchen would need all your organizational and cleaning skills. But, it does give that aesthetic effect for your highly modernized kitchen, which can be costly.

 Let's have a look at the Modern Kitchen Trends.

1. High- Gloss Cabinets Colors

This High-gloss feature for the modern cabinets is absolutely gorgeous for the kitchen. The upside is, it will make your room look spacious, lively and appealing just in case you will sell your home. The downside is, it will require daily cleaning, it may or may not be easily scratched and not advisable for someone who is busy as a bee. 

I guess you will be spending more time cleaning your kitchen,  polishing your cabinets and counter if it's this pretty. 

2. Modern Countertops 

Like any other modernization effect, there are ups and downs in the effort of attaining the aesthetic effect for our kitchen. Aesthetic wise, it does look great and will give you more room and storage space. It can also affect the functionality of our countertops/tables. With the look and the way it was styled, we can use our kitchens for more socializing, though, preparing food can be (or may not) a hassle because of the small space. 

Still, this depends on the style, design and safety in terms of design. Is it me or do you also think a glass countertop is not safe? I guess, that depends on the materials used for the glass countertop.
