If there is one thing that I am sure about myself, that is I do not conform with the trend. I was never the type of person who will conform with the fashion trend or the latest home design trends. Well first, I don't have the resources to change that often. Second is, I kinda dislike changing too often and as we all know fashion and interior can change by anytime. Third, I just don't have the time (and the money). I am a laid back person, who just love being around my fur-babies.

As we all know, the interior design always reflect's the person's personality or at least reflect their subconscious. It's crazy how people can easily see you just by looking the interior style that you have. It's pretty judgemental if you will ask me. However, we must consider the ongoing trend today and how people are being more expressive rather than conforming with the ongoing trend. I personally find the space liveable if it's more of my taste rather than the latest trend.

Like for example, a fashionista that is always up to date with the latest fashion trend in the market today will often change their interior according to the hippest and trendiest couch she could find in the market as well. A family guy who would pick the most comfortable couch that they could find in the market and knows the importance of short naps.

I have come up with a list of Common Interior designs and what it actually say about you.
You may also try this test http://www.bhg.com/bhg/quiz.jsp, to know your design style ( I tried it and pretty much accurate.)

1. Minimalist interior design

A style that describes an extremely organized and efficient individual imprinted with a well-defined pattern in a matter of design. He knows and thinks of any move in the interior design weeks before doing it, everything must go according to plan. The minimalist design describes a bold yet rather superficial attitude in design.

He is subdued to aesthetic values and this aspect is the main factor in decision making, followed by material quality along with texture and efficiency. This individual appreciates Eames furniture, his definition of vintage being the age  of a simple minimalist item that would fit his scene.

Five words that would describe the personality inhabiting the minimalist interior design would be perfectionistmethodicalefficientdetermined and introverted.

2. Trend-Setting Fashionista

Trend-setting fashionistas are bold with their colors but still classic. They follow the trends, but never to a ‘T.’ Their base color might be something simple like an eggshell, but they’ll have dramatic accents like gold and silver coupled with brilliant patterns you probably haven’t even heard of yet. The grouping of all these varying accents is always effortless and never cluttered.
A trend-setting fashionista is someone who is a go-getter. They are highly motivated, ambitious, and they always get what they want. Trend-setters stand out from the crowd and people love them for it. The key to this style? It never takes itself too seriously, and neither does the trendsetter. - Source: https://www.onekingslane.com
