It is one of the hardest questions that we can ask ourselves, considering the time, memories, upgrades that we have invested in our property and not tot mention the friends that we will leave behind once we move.

Check your town's zoning and building requirements before doing any renovations. This may cause some setbacks since there's a standard and limitation with how much land you can cover or the insulation requirements for the additional room that you will be adding.
You may also need to secure some permit and of course, there is the inspection of the added room being compliant with the requirements. With all this being needed, you can easily decide if you will renovate or buy a property instead.
